Danger Zones

The other day I had time to go out and run some errands.  Scott stayed home with the kids and I just took my time!  It was so wonderful.  So, I went to See's candy store because we had gotten a gift certificate for Christmas (thanks Greg and Cory)!!  I have had See's candy before, but I don't know that I have actually ever been in a store.  Let me just tell ya, it is EVIIIIILLLLL!!! You walk in and there are so many different kinds of chocolates to choose from.  How could I possibly choose, and actually limit myself to a pound!  There was just no way.  And I had to limit myself because everything is just so expensive, except for the suckers that are only $.60. So for anyone that knows me you know that I have to have a little bit of everything.  I bought some peanut brittle for Scott, some caramels for my mother in law, and some bridge mix for me.  It was heaven!  I absolutely adore bridge mix, but I never really buy it. For one, it is expensive ($15/pound at See's) and two, you have to find just the right kind because if it's not good chocolate it's not good bridge mix.  I don't really like the nuts in the bridge mix (except the peanuts), but I love the caramels and the raisins and chewy ones.  Anyway, I have decided the next time I can actually go in to a See's candy store is when I have the money to buy bridge mix for $15/pound!  Yikes!

The second danger zone I entered was Target.  I had a belt to exchange.  I told myself I was going to go in, go STRAIGHT to the return counter and exchange my belt.  Well, do you think that is what I did?  How could I when I am tempted immediately by the $1 items at the front of the store.  And I just had to look with Valentine's day coming up.  I was sure they would have something cute I would want to buy.  Of course they did!  I bought the cutest little Valentine pails, a book for Ryley about saying goodbye to her pacifier, 2 pedicure kits, some stickers, and some baby bowls and spoons for Kirye...all for $1!  What a deal!  Oh Target, how I love thee, let me count the ways.  That place is so dangerous.  I can usually never get out of there without buying something I want, but definitely don't need.

Oh, my gosh, the dollar section at Target KILLS me! I have never, ever gone into that store and not bought something from the dollar part. There is ALWAYS something cute!

see's is the best candy ever. my favorites are the bordeaux, the milk butter cremes, the molases chips and the chocolate butter cremes.

You've been tagged..sorry. The rules are: Once you have been tagged you have to write a blog with 10 weird random things, facts, or habits about yourself. At the end you choose 10 people to be tagged. Don't forget to leave a comment that says, "you are tagged" on their profile and tell them to read your blog. See an example on my blog. Have fun!

Ah, Target, yes.
Every time we check out, the cashier always asks us if we found everything okay.

I always laugh.

(Is she joking? This is TARGET....I find EVERYTHING I want! That's what is so bad!)
